Time away

Well, we went campng and had so much fun even tho the weather was bad. Then came home and fell and broke my proximal humerus. (upper arm) So I haven't been able topst anything until now.

My daughter in Montana got a new car and while I was on the phone with her today she put her 4 year old on the phone to tell me about it. She said "Just a minute Grandma, I'll show you." and tried to go out with the phone. She was pretty disgusted with me when I told she had to tell me about it with words. At that point she said she wanted to talk to Grandpa. Oh well! You can't win them all.

Crazy day or crazy woman?

Today I am considering changing the name of my blog to "Diary of a Mad Housewife" This morning I realized the Dr. appointment I thought I had today was yesterday and the lab appointment I thought was tomorrow, was today. Well I arranged to play catch up on those tomorrow, but in order to do so I must miss two of my favorite activities of the week. Hoping I will catch up to myself by the end of the week. The old saying "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get!" Seems to be true in my life right now.

To blog or not to blog. That has been the question in my mind. If the world is waiting with baited breath to hear what is on my mind I am sure they will be sorely disappointed, however as I have debated with myself on the merits of having a blog, I have decided to use this as an opportunity to keep a journal. If someone wants to look over my shoulder on this journey, you are welcome.

Things of note this week were my oldest grandson celebrated his 27th birthday and my husband his 70th. I am somewhere in between.

I got to visit with my oldest son and two of his sons for lunch this week as they traveled through our town.

On Saturday, one of my granddaughters, age 5, played in her second soccer game and made a goal.
